Mardi Burden, co-owner of Cuisine Classique has been an
an avid cook since 1976 when she married husband, Bob.
She is a self-taught cook and has spent many happy
hours in kitchens all over the country. Her first job while
still in high school was teaching cooking to the children
at the Tucson Boys and Girls club. Mardi has cooked
professionally in some of Tucson and Oro Valley's finest
restaurants specializing in French and American cooking.
Her love and knowledge of cooking is only surpassed by her
passion of “Sharing the Love” ! Chef Mardi has been lead
instructor and executive chef at Cuisine Classique for
over five years.

Marci Phillips is a native Tucsonan who combines her love of
cooking and extensive knowledge of gardening in all of her classes
and is an enthusiastic member of our teaching team. Marci is
a Master Gardener. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and received her Master's degree from Indiana University
She has taught pre-school through graduate school. Marci and her
husband Gregg are Realtors at Long Realty in Tucson.

Denis Soderman, Denis is a graduate of the culinary program
of Johnson and Wales University, one of our country's
premier culinary schools. Denis is a chef and is presently using
his considerable skills as Bistro Chef for AJ's Fine Foods.
Be sure to stop and say hi!  He teaches our classes about
cheeses and other subjects when schedules allow.

 

Mary Lou Colvin is another Tucson native. Mary Lou is
a Fourth Grade teacher in the Amphitheater district and
is wonderful with children. She is an invaluable member
during our summer Kid's Camps!
