Is that a NIP in the air?

Fall is one of our favorite times of the year.
The temperature drops to a chilly 98 degrees and,
we both get to enjoy some of our favorite things; football and figs. Bob loves football and I love figs!
The recipe on this page is one of my favorite ways
to prepare them. You will want to hurry to buy
them at the market, they are only available for
about 2 weeks, and then you will have to wait
until next fall. I found them at TJ's on Friday.
The figs should be firm, but give slightly when
gently squeezed.
This week's recipe is for;
Fig and Gorgonzola Crostini

Please take a look at our
September schedule of classes.
We are excited to share this schedule of classes
with you and look forward to cooking with you soon.

 P.S. October, November, and December’s
schedules are online now.

You should be lucky enough to find
some fresh figs in the grocery stores this
eek (hurry, they are usually only
available for a couple of weeks), you can enjoy
one of my favorite indulgences, fresh figs.
You may think of them as starters, but Bob
and I can make a meal of these
Bleu Cheese Stuffed Grilled Fig Crostinis,
with a little wine of course!
Enjoy and I hope to see you in class soon!
