These slicing knives are specially ground
with a
modified blade called Granton.
They
are available as a 10 inch Granton Slicer
with your choice of round or pointed tip,
and an 8 inch Granton Carving knife.
These knives make seemingly difficult chores,
such as slicing ham very thin, a breeze. The divits
ground into the sides of the blade create air pockets
allowing the cut food to fall away without sticking
to the blade. Slicing becomes almost effortless.
As with all Meridian Elite, the edges are hand finished
and polished
for incredible sharpness.
