Pumpkin Bread

Makes 3 large loaves or 6 small ones
If making large, bake at 325° 
If making the small ones bake at 350°

 Ingredients:
6 cups sugar
7 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 teaspoons baking soda                                            
3 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons each, nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon 
6 eggs
2 cups oil (canola, vegetable, etc.)
1 ½ cups of water
1 large can (29 ounces) pumpkin OR 3 Cups pureed fresh sugar pumpkin

  

DIRECTIONS:  
  1. Sift dry ingredients in the largest bowl you have
  2. Make a well in the center and add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
  3. Bake in well-buttered pans, for about an hour.
  4. These loaves freeze very well, just wrap tightly, and let thaw to
    room temperature.
