This great new Chinese knife
designed by Martin Yan
is forged from one solid piece of stainless steel. Smaller than
the Martin Yan chinese knife which has been discontinued,
this one is about 7" long and 3" wide. The hygienic
POM handles are triple riveted. This knife is not a big heavy cleaver,
the blade is surprisingly thin and light. The cutting action is
swift and accurate. It can be used to chop, dice, mince, slice,
much like a western style chef's knife, due to the thinness of the blade.
Do not use it to chop bones; for that you need a European bone cleaver
which has a very thick blade. A truly indispensable addition to
your kitchen tools. Each of these knives is beautifully finished and
is etched with Chef Yan's signature. Gift boxed.
